Does a Vegan diet improve your skin?

Than their carnivourous counterparts, vegans tend to eat more fruits and vegetables. That is awesome news for the skin. Saturated fats found in animal products cause pore clogging and plantbased diets don’t have this. Antioxidants and vitamins are the building blocks for radiant skin and vegetables and fruit contain high amounts. The fiber from grains flush out toxins and give a healthy glow.

The antioxidants, Vitamins C and E, help fight wrinkles, brown spots and neutralize skin-damaging free radicals, promoting a youthful appearance.  Prime sources for vitamin E are nuts and seeds and the rewards can be reaped by eating almonds, ground flax seeds, walnuts and sunflower seeds. Zinc found in beans decreases inflammation and combats zits preventing pimples and redness. Olive oil and avocados have unsaturated fats and provide fatty acids that keep cell membranes supple and strong and the skin hydrated. I prepare every meal with at least a bit of olive oil whether it is for a salad, to bake or to boil.

Skin that glows from the inside out, we all want that. The recipe to that is to pass on the meat and dairy product and ramp up your intake on beans, whole grains, nuts, vegetales and fruits.
